It is also know as "Rhythm & Blues". On the (now closed) Troon Mountain.
And it was (is?) a beautiful, sustained crack. Maybe the best hand/large handcrack in Phoenix...
I always sigh when I spot it while climbing on Pinnacle Peak. Stupid developers and their "private" mountain.

seems like it wold be worth the penalty eh? Especially if you can flip 'em off as you get away.

Is the a down climb or do you have to rap off? That looks like a really nice renegade solo.

I have been there very quietly. No gear clanking. Hushed. Every rock I have ever had the pleasure of climbing is still there. Crooked Book in Carefree, Devils Disciple on the Lower East Wall @ Pinnacle Peak, the Bolus @ Camelback, still there, in silence. If you don't have some other warrant and you have good ID and are very polite, the worst is some form of trespass misdemeanor. Sshhhh. Check it out from a distance. Better yet, get to know a landowner and you can always use the excuse of, Just Visiting and Taking Pictures, Sir. :-)
