That does look like a velvet painting. Blitzo's pic made me think of Leeteg of Tahiti (minus the breasts). Leeteg was an awesome velvet painter, and his paintings are worth some Gs! Very hard to find now. Anything Leeteg is worth money, so take a close at any old velvet paintings you may come across, and then call me stat! ; ) I sold two Leeteg of Tahiti books that were only given out to people who bought a painting by Leeteg back in the day. I picked the books up for 50 cents a piece, and sold them for $220 each, and they weren't even mint. They were signed by his friend, the author who supposedly took advantage of Leeteg in his later years. A very colorful, and interesting artist he was.
Blitzo's pics always make me think of other things; as they come alive. : )
