Hey Allen,

Is Ocelot that nice looking little ridge of granite that runs above the Foxton Road, just south of the 285 junction?

Holy crap, there was a block in that crack.

Thanks for the pics Allen. They say what me, my brother, & friends always knew for the past few years since it was prohibited: this formation is important.

That's Pleas Park rock. It's private land. A friend of mine wandered up there years ago and the land owner appeared out of the woods with a gun and asked them to leave and to put word out it's off limits. It looks good though.

Ocelot is where North Turkey Creek road meets road 73 (the road between Conifer and Evergreen.

Mark,

Yes there was a block there. We called that route 5.9 and it's name was "webble's wobble."

The more I think about Ocelot I think it's just as well it closed due to it's proximity to Denver and the instant bolting issues that will no doubt occur. If we could leave it as it is fine, but to be honest I just as a general rule don't trust don't human beings to self regulate. Then again I could be totally wrong on this. Just throwing it out.
