It defies logic that the hold he is clipping from is still there. It's a 1/4"-thick blade that sticks out about an inch. One would think it would just leverage off.

It's still there, and an important foot... I can't believe anyone would clip off there though.

Well it is still there 6/10/2012. The reason he is clipping from there is because those draws were probably hanging already. I did this yesterday (good 8 falls on the crux) and there is no way I could reach that hanger to put a draw on from that hold. Disagree with it being a critical foot. If it broke, I don't think it would change the grade.
