I do not agree with the drawn in route line. I believe the route goes left of this line, into the right leaning flakes.

You're right - the usual line goes from where the climber is in the photo and trends left to hit the low point on the flakes and then back rightish. The main reason to go that way is to place pro in the flakes. But you can certainly climb just about anywhere on the wall so the line in the photo probably goes too. In reality, if you get to the ledge where the climber is standing you follow the chalk or previous climber and don't worry about photos on MP!
