5.5? Shirley you can't be serious...

devkrev.......you have to understand that the ratings at the Gunks is seriously skewed. If a local is calling it a 5.5, it's likely 5.8/9 in the real world. That's not a criticism, just an observation from climbing at the Gunks for the last 9 summers and extensive adventures at other climbing areas. Also, there are numerous horizontals and features that you can't see in this photo, that make the climbing more moderate than it appears.

The picture is of the second pitch, which is 5.3.
