I loved that pitch, I am lucky enough to have big oh hands, made it feel like 5.7, and the roof below like 5.9.

I thought that the roof below was definitely 5.9. It was the crux of the route for me.

happy to read this. I too thought the single hardest part of the climb was pulling the 5.7 roof.

Mark Patterson nears the anchor atop Pitch 3. The pitch ends with fifty feet of offwidth-ish crack climbing (4-inches wide). Extra 3.5-4 inch gear allows this section to feel nice and cozy.
