This wasn't over by the 5 Open Books area was it? I saw a snake with the same color variation (incomplete red banding) at the base of Commitment.

Craig512...that old adage is great for Arizona and Florida, but we don't have Coral Snakes in Yosemite or CA for that matter. That's a fine looking specimen. Those Mountain Kingsnakes are beautiful.
