Description Suggest change

Neverland is one of the larger cluster of cliffs at the Far Side, visible from the parking lot and much of the rest of Exit 38. Four smaller crags make up Neverland, mostly typical single pitch affairs, and a few longer routes at Lost Boys. The rock ranges from slabby dioritic overlaps to juggy andesite.

Despite being the closest to the parking lot, Neverland was developed late in the game in 2005 primarily by Garth Bruce, Drew Fletcher and Dave Perkins. Benefits to this area include solace from road noise and wind, plus the longest bolted route at the Far Side (the Plank).

In 2019, Kyle Willis, Wayne Wallace and Tim Beirne began exploring Wayne's World, the popular drytooling crag just around the corner.

Getting There Suggest change

Enter the developed trail for "Dirty Harry's Peak", and take the first sharp left just after you enter the woods. A 5-10 minute hike brings you to a set of switchbacks on the right which lead to the base of Lost Boys, or continue a bit further straight ahead to reach the base of Smea, followed by Croc.
