Interesting... where is the rope going? Top rope??? Anyway, this is the obvious face right off the trail and the way I would recommend. Fire up towards that tree.

Yeah, we had a few young ones that wanted to climb that day. We didn't want to get into too much scrambling off the trail, since one of them was having challenges following directions that particular day. I climbed up and set up a gear anchor, top roped them, then downclimbed it. It was just an obvious line in their difficulty range.
