Dan Halpern: a bald, jewish, middle-school band teacher from Jersey. Quite possibly the funniest guy I know. Met him on an American Alpine Institute trip, and climbed with him over the summer in Washington Pass.

Paul Stein on my AMGA Rock Instructor Course. This guy is a blast to climb with, and just chock full of idioms that I'd never heard before (or likely to hear again...). Favorite memory is the Rodeo on Blind Faith...you know what I'm talking about Paul!
