I will be taking a 3-week "climbing break" in CO on my drive across the country and am looking for moderate partners from Jun 19 - 27th, and July 5th - July 9th. I lead 9 on gear, 10 sport, and follow 11a's and prefer moderate multipitch trad routes. Tick list in RMNP include the oblgatory Petite, Culp-Bossier (5.8) and Northcutt-Carter (5.7) on Hallet, Sykes Scikle (9+) on Spearhead, S. Ridge (5.9) on Notchtop, SE Corner (5.9) on Saber.

Cheers,
Al (alfred dot kwok @pomona.edu)

That is quite a tic list...I am sure you'll be able to find someone to climb with over that time frame. One comment though: the Northcutt-Carter route is no longer 5.7. A huge rock slide took out the lower pitches several years ago...I hear that it is rarely climbed anymore...but word has it that the lower pitches are loose and go about 5.10 R these days. The Petit and Sabre should be dry by that time, but the Culp may still be melting out. Good luck and safe climbing!

Petite and Sabre are in season and open of ice/snow/water now.

I've done the Petit and Culp Bossier. I'd like to get on the Saber soon. My regular climbing partner is only off on weekends, when I work. I lead up to mid 5.10. E-mail me and we'll climb.
