oh man, i just discovered the hat this past october, got determined/addicted on that featureless traverse in both directions...i like your approach! note to self, must try that line next time. (topping out is all fine and dandy until you look for the down climb with no pad or any assistance because your ADD kicked in and you partner gave up on verbal communication after many failed attempts)
