My brother struggling at the crux of "Kindling Crack", one of the classic routes at Long Beach (Dunedin area).
Climbin in New Zealand made possible by Graham Johnson. An old climbing partner from my school days at McGill, running into Graham in Dunedin was awesome. He geared us up and took us to Dunedin's local crags.
My brother playing around on the descent from "Aqualung", Mihawaka's classic 17 (5.9)<br> <br> 35m long, the route overhangs ~10 from its base, giving it some great exposes moves.
My father, Scott, leading his first climb in over a year (more like 5 though). By meandering off-route he turned a 5.7 into a 5.9 and had a frightening experience. We all thought it was great.<br> <br> This small crag, Mihiwaka, is outside of the city of Dunedin.
