Supplies for The Monastery. I always like to have plenty of beer on hand while climbing. These micro brews in cans work nicely for packing in and packing out empties.

Watch out for rattlesnakes at the Monastery. This 5-6 footer was very well camoflauged!

The approach trail after the downclimb and ascent from the creek. As you approach the area, Outer Banks is the rock crop on the left, and straight ahead between the trees is the Vestibule entrance which heads down towards the Altar, etc.

The trailhead near the switchback that is the access trail to the Monastery.

Forest Service has closed the area to all activities until June 30 due to after fire concerns.
