Hey, don't guarantee anything you aren't sure of. I'm a broke college kid who'd be excited for a chalkbag or a pair of shoes (~size 10 US, 44 euro). Seems like I decided to get the safety gear first and forgo that which makes climbing easier. |

Obviously you were on this thread hoping to score some free gear, and I'm with you, free gear kicks ass. But to criticize someone for essentially doing the same thing you are is ignorant. Use that ignorance for something more constructive to this situation and ignore your frustrations entirely. |

| Try reading the name of the thread and the description. It does not exclude asking. You don't know if someone can help if you don't ask. If you are not in the position to help then just keep your comments in your head. I would suggest, If people asking for things bothers you, then don't read the posts. Perhaps even start a new thread titled, " Don't ask me for anything." |

I think it should be the other way around. ONLY broke people who NEED gear should ask for it so it keeps people who just look for free handouts away. It's mostly the same people repeatedly hitting on the free gear that is posted. They don't need the gear, they WANT it. So they skim this forum first thing everyday and pounce on any post. So, until a moderator moderates, everyone ASK FOR WHATEVER YOU WANT!!! |
