Description

I'm separating this out to make an easy distinction between the bouldering and the alpine/trad in Icicle Creek.

Some of the best bouldering in the state can be found up in Icicle. The Forestland Boulders, Mad Meadows, and plenty of outlying boulders provide a wealth of terrain to test one's self.

Getting There

Take a left at the West end of town, and follow the road up Icicle Creek.

The Central Washington Bouldering guide gives mileage to the various areas from this intersection, so unless otherwise noted that's where the distances are measured from.

Me trying to hang on after the dyno.

Shrimp Traveler V6 7A  WA : Central-East Cascades, Wena... : ... : Chaos Boulders
Start with hands on the crimper rail about head high. After pasting your feet onto something, either do a small move to get to a slightly higher crimp, or just throw to the lip from there. Move left and mantle on big holds. AMAZINGI will add a photo in the next couple days....[more]   Browse More Classics in WA
