Details
Permits can be acquired at the ranger station on the way to the boulders from the upper Tramway station.
Description
One of the better boulders at The Tram, this dark oblong block has a dozen or so problems from V0 to V10 with most being V6 and harder. Some of the better problems here include Catwalk (V0), Over the Boardwalk (V7), Left Hand of Darkness (V9), Boardwalk (V9) and Soul Shine (V10).
Getting There
Starting from the far end of The Beach take the trail past the Methane Boulder, past the Steep Sharma Arete and wind up through boulders until the obvious mass of the Glass Boulder comes into view on the left and then make a sharp right to the obvious dark boulder on the right. The approach takes about 20-30 minutes depending on your method of approach and hiking speed.
