Comments: Where the hell is your wrist?!!?

Or your forearm for that matter?

Is your hand attached to your upper arm?

If so, forgive the insensitivity.

Comments: Depends on the carrier of course, but generally LCC is more cell friendly than BCC as it is a glacial canyon and therefore generally straighter. Certainly there are places where a signal is hard to find, but it's usually not too far of a walk to get one.

Comments: That's nice. I'm sticking with the name I gave it since it really isn't a route, but more of an approach.

Comments: The next fin up and right with the R-facing dihedral (zoom in) has 2 routes on it that look good with great rock quality. Theres a bit of gear, then a fixed nut, then 2 separate bolted lines. Easy to get to if you're up there. Didn't climb 'em as we were just out for a walk in the woods.

Comments: "the addition of anchors would make this route a bit more enjoyable."

Bullshit. Much more interesting to build an anchor.

Comments: Am I the only one that realizes a helmet won't save yer noggin from a rock that size? Of course you should wear a helmet, and of course it may stack the odds slightly more in your favor, but it's funny how the comments of "wear a helmet" give the proverbial hall-pass for every chossy area with said inherent risk. Helmets are magic that way.

Glad the sucka missed you.

Comments: Thanks Kirk, I'm glad you cleared that up. Certainly the most difficult crag to find.

EVAR!!!

Maybe we could paint a line on the ground from the road to the crag. I'll donate the florescent pink paint.

Comments: Heh! Great route name.

I'm gonna buy a $600 drill just for this. Can't wait to add an anchor (and spray bolts all over it while I'm at it). I'm super motivated by the quality rating.

Comments: OK kids listen up. You can't really tell with certainty from the pic that those chickenheads will take a proper tie off or not. The lower one looks to me as though a knot would actually make it less secure. Hence the very long runners before the rope is attached.

Meh, no loss.

Comments: Think twice about lowering from this. The rope runs laterally across some sharp edges. Rapping might be a bit nicer to your ropes.

Rapping, not raping.
