Comments: I found a light rack at this wall that someone left behind on Monday, June 14 2010. Please email me at mlmrink at msn dot com. I'd really like to get your gear back to you.

Comments: Thanks to whomever (whether it was the FA's, the ranger, etc.) has added chains for an anchor!!! That tree was getting beyond scary.

Comments: Did this two days ago. With a 70m, you can do this thing in two pitches and one rap. Combine P1&2 (about 270') with about 40-50' of simul-climbing and then combine P3&4 (about 220') with no simul-climbing required. The exposure after the opening traverse of P3 is rad!!! Then look for chains toward the gulley and down about 10' and do a one rope airy, rad rap back to the ground and walk back to your packs in about 10 minutes. Doing this and not even trying to climb super fast we were able to... more >>

Comments: Did this two days ago. Since I utilized some of the earlier posted beta, I'll add my two cents. With a 70m and some easy simul-climbing, you can do this thing in 3 pitches. As was said earlier, combine P1&2 (about 350'). Combine P3&4 (about 200') with no simul-climbing needed; can belay 2nd up. Combine P5&6 (about 180') with no simul-climbing required. Then run up to summit and look for chains just down to the NE about 10' on rappeler's left side of the obvious gulley on a perfec... more >>

Comments: Thanx a ton Tyler King; you kill it!!! I have long wondered about the actual climbing in this long, lost forgotten but beeeautiful cirque in the Wasatch. I have been in the cirque multiple times to ski the aprons and surrounding slopes, but have seriously wondered about the quality of rock up there and accuracy of routes after hearing a few sandbag stories of Giggles. I'm going to make it a point to get there this coming summer. Thanks again; you rawk!!!

Comments: Some ok-fun moves and exposed at the crux, but the greasiness has truly detracted from this climb over time. I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone; there are alot better similar face climbs of equal grade in the City.

Comments: I did it today. This route is 3 star rock for sure which is absolutely amazing considering it has been closed for a number of years. The climb is two different worlds; 1/2 5.7'ish crack to 1/2 5.9 slab. 3-4 pieces down low ranging anywhere from tcu to #2 then about 6 bolts to the chains. Another City classic to get on before it gets greazy. The crack part of this thing makes me wonder what it was like to climb Bushwhack raw?!?!

Comments: Did it today; sew'd it up pretty well. It is all there and demands use of all climbing techniques known to man thus far (except offwidths) which is rad for something which is fairly short. I used three #1's and two #2's and built the anchor out of three #4's. Gear is bomber the whole way. Great climb!!

Comments: No cairn anymore; just head up boulder strewn gully as opposed to bushwhacking.

Comments: Did this route today and like it, have enjoyed many of your routes over the years JG; will be honored to meet you and shake your hand hopefully someday soon.
This route offers one of the only, if not the only, moderate, multi pitch, sport routes in LCC that I can think of.
Definitely 9/9+ with everything there; placed a green C3 on pitch 1 and a yellow C3 on pitch 3 (which seems to be the crux pitch).
Views on the top of this thing are raaaahaaad!!!!!!
Only qualm I have is wi... more >>
