Comments: As of April 2013, this route has been completely, and thoughtfully, re-bolted including the finish hardware. D'Antonio's guidebook has it as 5.12 which is a mis-print. It is 5.11.

Comments: Big thanks to Rob for all his great work on this wall and others here in Summit County!

Jack Straw (great name by the way) is a really fun and challenging line with some pretty big exposure on the second pitch. First pitch goes easily at 5.10. However, the second pitch is considerably harder than any of the 5.10s I've been climbing recently. I gave it a 5.11a. Everything you need is there, but once you find it, it's thinner than you wish. Enjoy!

Comments: As of July 8 2012, some baby birds have taken up residence in the last (key) hold making the route a bit harder before you step around right at the top. It is still climbable, but you get a pinch at the top rather than a jug. They will fledge later this summer leaving the route to us again.

Comments: Likely the best route on White Cliff. Two fun roof moves separated by easy face climbing. Enjoy.

Comments: !!!!!CAUTION!!!!!
As of April 2012, someone has removed the hangers from the bolts after you pass the third bolt. Therefore, the fourth bolt and the belay have no hangers and can not be used. Didn't find this out till I was ready to clip the four bolt. Had to leave a biner and lower off. Finishing the route would be a significant run out. Appears to be suitable for some trad gear if you have it with you.

Comments: This line has two new belay anchors and is climbing well. All bolts necessary are in place. Thanks to whom ever replaced them!

Comments: Very cool boulders. Nice park. Worthy of a stop on your way through BV.
Haven't been enough to know if someone is care taking and changing the routes occasionally or not. However, the current set (Aug 2011) is not well done. There is no flow through the lines, just feels like holds randomly bolted on with no forethought or experience by the route setters.

Comments: A quick comment on access to this line. I found MP and the guidebook to be a bit vague on this point - and observed others being confused. You do not use the Tyrolean traverse that reaches across to Creekside. Park close to Tunnel 5, cross the river via the bridge at the entrance to the tunnel, jump the jersey barrier and look for the trail which leads upstream, fairly close to the water. The trail is apparent and reasonably well marked.

Comments: White Cliff is a great place here in Summit County. Great variety of sport lines. Thank you to Rob and Brian for all your work in putting these up! The black and white drawing that Rob has posted is amazingly accurate and easy to follow. Happy Climbing!
