Comments: Great little problem...nice matched crimps to a beautiful jug. The mantle ain't that bad either - boulderin' time is upon us.

Comments: if i don't have a baby handy, i find wearing a pack full of the afternoon's beverage(cans of course, no glass at the crags) goes a long way toward enhancing the pump.

Comments: pretty cool chunk of rock, and most of the stuff is indeed very difficult, although there are a few moderate problems on the right-hand side of the northern face with nice top-outs and good landings...should you fall.

Comments: Topographical Oceans is an insane route in a gorgeous area. If you are like me and not partial to slab climbing in any way...stay away!!!!! The runouts are hideous (30 to 40 feet) with horrendous swing potential even for the second. The final pitch is just plain stupid, basically a blank, near-vertical face... never again...nice lead though, Derek!

Comments: Even if this is man-made, there is no denying that it is one beautiful line. If I had anything near the ability to send it, I would not hesitate to jump on...

Comments: Agreed, Old Fart. Having the second trail a rope and clean is a good, uncomplicated way to address the length of this route. Long, sustained, and fun route!

Comments: Ditto. Nice route, but the runouts are there. Don't lead it if you are not comfortable having your feet 7-10' above the last bolt.

Comments: Not sure if officially closed...but there is a huge (active) falcon nest just to the right of the route....may be good to highlight it as such (like the closed Eldo routes). I'd stay off. Thanks! ~Victor
