Comments: Flakes on the route are extremely sketchy and loose. Be careful. R rating is only for the short section of flakes midway up

Comments: V grades are based on the single most difficult move. Nothing on this traverse is more difficult than v1. Just because its super pumpy and not many v4 and under climbers can do it doesn't mean its v3. If it was in europe it wouldn't be given a bouldering grade.

Comments: The pockets were drilled. The holds are mostly jugs with a sloper or a small pocket thrown in every few moves. Don't go looking for this climb however it is a great warmup for the other routes in the area.

Comments: hell is paved with good intentions. With a decent patchjob the rock won't look scarred. The cam placement is bomber and the fall is pretty clean. Man up and climb it without the bolt.

Comments: If you guys have never been there then good luck finding it. I don't think many people that know where triassic is have any drive to draw a map as accurate as the one in the guidebook. A number of no name dirt roads and the small number of DINOSAUR QUARRY signs are the only things out there. One of these days I'll get around to providing a more detailed and visual map.
As for camping there: MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN UP. You can get away with camping at the parking area/entrance to Land of a Thousand ... more >>

Comments: Can anyone confirm a broken hold halfway up? this route doesn't feel like 5.11a/b and isn't consistent with the routes surrounding it.

Comments: I'm with mark. I feel its either 5.11a with the boulder start or 5.8 if you start off to the left.
