Location: UT : Wasatch Range : Little Cottonwood Canyon : Great White Icicle Area : Master Scriptorian (5.10- R) By: Ty Gregory When: May 10, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: [UPDATE] In an effort to address the feedback I have received (this route is piss scary) I have added two bolts. One above the second bolt and another above the first overhang, the bolt above the first overhang ought to be hung with a long draw. I would be wary of the blocks above the first roof as you move along left and up to the upper face, one pillar in particular upon close inspection appears to be detached so if someone decides to kick it off make sure no one is below as the waterfall ... more >>

A deftly placed number seven hb offset will keep you out of the shrubage should you blow it going to the second bolt. Not for pansies.

Location: UT : Wasatch Range : Little Cottonwood Canyon : The Thumb Area : Robbins Crack (5.9+) By: Ty Gregory When: Nov 23, 2007 | view comment >> | Comments: This was the first 5.10 established in the canyon at a time when harder grades did not exist. Keep that in mind if you ever try this route. Robbins crack requires supreme offwidth skills and an inclination for pain and frustration to the extreme. If you possess these attributes then go give this thing try if not be well aware that as soon as you peer into the its maw satan will cackle and chew off your arms. Make sure you take medical gauze with you.
