Comments: I not trying to say Dancing Outlaw is not V8, I was thinking Debra was closer to V9. I think the Old Women was just hard for me compared to Outlaw, so I gave them the same grade. Anyways the difference is small and does not really matter. I was just interested in talking about it.
I was also not trying to say V7 is not a hard grade in regard to Cradlerock Style. I was thinking that the first move off the crimp rail seemed like one of the harder single moves ... more >>
Comments: To me Debra seemed harder. Also G Old Women seems as hard as this. Have you guys tried "Cradlerock Style v7" as in the Edwards guide. I will add it to Mt. p today, but it seemed hard. Thoughts?
Comments: I got on this for the first time today and sent it pretty quick. It is really my style of problem though. I don't really know if it is harder than V7, I have yet to work on anything V8 so not really sure what the grade feels like. Defiantly not 8+ or 9 though.
My beta was a right foot on the good foot hold out left and just do a twisting throw up to the decent crimp. A key was to trust your left fingers not blowing out of the shallow pocket.
Comments: After sending it today in average conditions I would call it V6. On a cool dry morning I would say it could be V5. The undercling bob was talking about is still usable but very small, but the problem is harder without it.
Comments: Was out on it today. Good weather for sending, but no spotter had me worried about topping out. I did the move to the crimp as it was most obvious to me then backed off the top out. Next time?
Comments: Cruised this on monday. All the blots look good, only one lose hanger but still bomber. Fun climb, its 9 pitches if you stop to belay off the set of semi rusty anchors just after the first crux, Pitch 6? Agree with 5.8+ rating.
