Location: CO : Colorado Springs : Garden of the Gods : Kindergarten Rock : East Face : Big Sky (5.7) By: Travis Merrill When: Sep 4, 2011 | view comment >> | Comments: Just a warning: the first bolt for this route was spinning in the hole. Very unsafe. I climbed past it and just clipped into the second, but that first bolt is no longer a good piece of protection.

Location: CO : Colorado Springs : Garden of the Gods : North Gateway Rock : West Face : Cowboy Boot Crack (5.6) By: Travis Merrill When: Sep 2, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: Climbed this one yesterday. Just a warning: beware of the big Petzl eyebolts at the top anchor (second one?). I got up there and found the eyebolts almost 50% worn through. I know it's a beginner route, but people need to learn to preserve some fixed gear.

Location: CO : Colorado Springs : Garden of the Gods : North Gateway Rock : West Face : Trigger Finger (5.9) By: Travis Merrill When: Sep 2, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: Hey guys, just climbed this one again yesterday. Always a good route, along with previous advice be careful on those flakes. I definitely felt them shift a bit, pull down not out.... I climbed it up to the second set of anchors just above the unzipped set, the nice big glue-in eyebolts. Sweet anchors except the fact that they are worn almost 50% of the way through. I don't know what can be done about it, but those things are getting sketchy. Don't add to it by toproping through them.

Location: CO : South Platte : Turkey Rocks : Turkey Perch : Ragger Bagger (5.8+) By: Travis Merrill When: Oct 13, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: I enjoyed the route, didn't really know what I was getting into, but Jimmie Dunn said to try it so I did. Great moves, and a fun deep section.

Location: CO : Canon City : Shelf Road : Cactus Cliff : High Heeled Tittty Twister (5.10) By: Travis Merrill When: Apr 28, 2009 | view comment >> | Comments: I really liked this route, it looked harder than it was. Also when i reached the anchors both the nuts on the bolts were so loose i could finger tighten them. The bolts seemed fine but the "hangers" are barely on there, i backed it up with the one cam i always have on me (yay green link) and tightened as much as I could with my fingers. Someone might want to take a wrench up there or something.
