Comments: Fun trad climbing with a low, short, protectable crux. Much easier and well protected climbing to the shuts. Bottom piton is in poor condition, but the upper is useable.

Comments: As of 8/2012 the 2 existing routes on the lower slab have been upgraded with new hardware and ring shuts. A new climb has been added just right of the tree. It is the leftmost of the 3 climbs.

Comments: Seems to feel more 5.10+ for shorter folks. Interesting crux up high stumps many 5.10 climbers. Great route on clean rock! Good eye Norm!

Comments: Short. Could be a highball boulder problem. Either way 2 bolts protect you to the chains. Different than other breakneck climbs. Worth climbing.

Comments: Better than it sounds. In need of a facelift. New solid ring anchors and hardware will be replacing the single cold shut currently on top. A good climb for the beginning leader.

Comments: Great news for folks (like my girlfriend) who own their incredible Quantum M carbon fiber tools. She hasn't been able to get replacement picks for 2 years now. She's been hesitant using them on mixed and dry routes, trying to conserve the picks she's had for ice routes only. She's been grabbing my Nomics and her old Monsters for all her drytooling. Many of the local ice climbers here favor their screws as well. Glad to see Grivel being back in the U.S. market again! Nice to see the dist. g... more >>

Comments: NOTE: This climb originally stayed on the bolt line up the arete proper. Hence the 5.9 grade. The vegetation and lichen to the left is now gone and has revealed much better (bigger) holds. Most folks now move left around the arete to the slab and much easier holds. If climbing this var. The grade is more like 5.6 This is not the worlds easiest 5.9.

Comments: Highly recommended route. Short in nature, but packs a punch. Crux at top. 1 bolt and Shuts, placing some trad gear low is the norm if I remember right.

Comments: This route is called 50/50 named for the percentage of sends we'd get in a day. Bolted in 2004 this route hardly sees any traffic.
