Comments: Nice route. Really long moves on small edges with a few good rests here and there. I was a bit confused about the different endings. If I understand correctly, straight up is 13+, if you veer right at second to last bolt and end at Borderline it's 12d, and if from Borderline's anchor you follow the lip of the wall back left to direct finish anchors it's 13a.
Comments: There is a 25 foot runout between bolts 1 and 2 on the third pitch. Not particularly hard (5.9ish) but very scary. I vote for an R rating since a fall trying to clip the second bolt would be ugly.
Comments: Got down very easily from the last bolt before the anchors with a 70m. Reached to top of the boulder that you scramble on top of to start the route. Some very easy downclimbing gets you to the ground.
Comments: Tried this route yesterday. Lots of loose rock (small flakes and chips), but the climbing and movement are really interesting. The lower section is tricky and weird but learns down fast. The real business starts past the "bear hug" when you move left onto the arete and try to get set up on an awkward, vertical pinch. Then reach over the bulge, follow a crimp/sloper rail, and do a hard mantle to get established on the slab.
This is a quintessential Quarry route: lots of technical climbing on... more >>
Comments: This route needs new hangers!!! Three or four of the hangers in steep section of this route are pulled away from the wall and severely deformed. It would also be nice if the anchors had hangers instead of chain link held to the bolt with a washer.
Comments: Great route. Felt like 12c vertical climbing to a huge V5 lunge and then some 11+ slab to the top on flaky rock. I am 5'8" and can barely stick the lunge. So if you are much shorter than me, this might not be the best route for you.
