Comments: Scrubbed the upper part. Still some lichen and moss but much cleaner now. Enjoy!

Comments: Got lost trying to find the underworld. Could anyone provide detailed approach instructions? We parked a Conley Cove and hiked for an hour on the Rock Jock Trail. The only pink marker we saw was about 5 minutes into the hike where Conley Cove Trail intersected with the Rock Jock Trail. Are the markers still up? What milage do you park at for shortcut approach? Landmarks? Assume I know nothing about the names of canyons, trails, etc. Would really like to find this place. Thanks!

Comments: Watch out for loose rock in the black band at mid-height. Otherwise, a fun route with a slightly contrived finish. Thanks for putting this up!

Comments: I am 5'8" with a +1" reach and was able to keep my feet on the wall when I did the lateral move. It is a huge move, but you don't need to be 6' tall to do this one. Intense little route!

Comments: 5.11 to a hard V6 with some big reaches, small edges and a tough last clip.

Comments: Maybe I missed some holds of did it wrong? I fell on this, and had to figure it out. Personally, this felt much harder than 5.10.

This route is located on right flank of the Drive-By crag on the way to Bob Marley. Walk past the Drive-By Crag towards the huge amphitheater, down the hill, and then walk right following an obvious trail until you see some routes. Sojourner Truth is about 5 minutes hike from the first routes you see while hiking up the hill out of the Drive-By cave.

Comments: V8 on a rope. Delicate moves on small, rounded edges, some hard lateral moves, and a couple of big lockoffs. 4 star rock and movement. Just too short to get more than 2 stars. OK clips.

Comments: The talus field below the Outback Cliff has some potential for bouldering. Lot's of steep faces with climbable features. Bad landings but nothing a few pads couldn't fix. V0-VHard.

Comments: Nice route. Really long moves on small edges with a few good rests here and there. I was a bit confused about the different endings. If I understand correctly, straight up is 13+, if you veer right at second to last bolt and end at Borderline it's 12d, and if from Borderline's anchor you follow the lip of the wall back left to direct finish anchors it's 13a.

Comments: There is a 25 foot runout between bolts 1 and 2 on the third pitch. Not particularly hard (5.9ish) but very scary. I vote for an R rating since a fall trying to clip the second bolt would be ugly.

Comments: Got down very easily from the last bolt before the anchors with a 70m. Reached to top of the boulder that you scramble on top of to start the route. Some very easy downclimbing gets you to the ground.

Comments: Tried this route yesterday. Lots of loose rock (small flakes and chips), but the climbing and movement are really interesting. The lower section is tricky and weird but learns down fast. The real business starts past the "bear hug" when you move left onto the arete and try to get set up on an awkward, vertical pinch. Then reach over the bulge, follow a crimp/sloper rail, and do a hard mantle to get established on the slab.

This is a quintessential Quarry route: lots of technical climbing on... more >>
