Comments: I cleaned a bunch of the pockets and rails out today - seemed like it had gotten worse since I last climbed it. There's a large ledge above the water chute that's feeding dirt to the route. I'll bring something bigger than a nut tool next time. Still very climbable and very fun!

Comments: Is there any information on those lines up the hill from Monkey Lust? I climbed what must have been the center route back in August and today - goes up through the blocks to a small tree with an old pin in it. Then up the nice finger/thin hand crack that peters out at a bulge with 2 bolts above. It finishes by taking two parallel seams to the 2-bolt anchor. 5.8 maybe.

I didn't have anything other than a nut tool to clean it, but will definitely bring stuff next time - should be a nice route... more >>

Comments: Is there an entry in any guides for the corner just left of Mighty Arete? It was an easy line, but had some fun moves.

Comments: A question for the Admins...I was climbing some of the more obscure routes at Duncan's today, and I wondered if it's possible to make route entries for them, with hopes that other users will add info, as I know no definite names/ratings for them. I'm surprised that the routes I was on weren't entered already, as I found them to be great fun. Anyway, if you could let me know the procedure for something like this, I'd be most greatful.

Comments: Anyone ever boulder on the walls just before Mills Lake? I was messing around on the wall just after you take the steep incline and go under the fallen tree - there's a fun overhanging problem right away, and a few lines as you go down the rock. I couldn't top any of them due to the snow, so I figured I'd put this up to see if anyone knows if these have names/grades.

Comments: The new Poudre guide recommends a 70m rope to rap or TR from the chains, but today I witnessed that 70 meters leaves you 7-10 feet off the deck. No fall/injuries thanks to an attentive belayer, but I thought it was quite easy to belay the second up and walk off the ramp.

Comments: Allen,
To your comment about the slab just off of the creek - do you know which lines are rated what? I took a picture if you wanted to draw lines on it. I saw a 2-bolt anchor at the top and wondered if all routes ended there. You said you toproped a few - does the rock not take gear well?

Comments: On 6/6/09, I climbed this route and found a loose bolt (2nd or 3rd). I finger tightened it, but if you have a wrench and are heading up there, could you please snug it up?

I found 2 spinners on Joint Venture just to the left as well - there's a note of its route page. Climb aware.

Comments: I climbed this route today (6/6/09), and found two spinners (bolt 2 or 3 and one of the anchors). I didn't have a wrench, so I could only finger tighten them. If anyone is rolling up there Sunday, will you do everyone a favor and snug these down?

I think there's one on Strategery as well, I'll leave a comment over there.

Comments: Climbed this route today - I thought it was a good route, but it will be better when it gets cleaned of the lichen and some loose gravel.

Comments: Definitely boltless and anchorless. I ended up climbing to the anchors for Dihedral One (not recommended, massive rope drag). I think there's one or two 5.7 moves in the corner, right off the ledge.

Comments: Does anyone have any beta for this section of rock? Seems like there are two routes, one goes left into the crack and the other hits the overhang and goes up the face. Any names/ratings would be sweet. Thanks.

Comments: A third bolt would really sew up this route - the runout from bolt 2 is about 1/3 or more of the route length, granted on easier climbng, but a slip up there on lead could be disastrous with the back wall being so close.
Also, make sure you have a bail biner for rapping off any of the routes on this wall. The angle of the anchors combined with the sharp rocks and lower angle of the top half of the rock caught my rope on every ascent of this wall.

Comments: I think this route should be changed to Trad-type. I didn't see any bolts in my attempt to do this route.
