Comments: A fun solo. Cool views. Dang ants be all up in yo bidniss on the final crack. If for P3 you go left up a sorta flake ramp thing instead of right to the 5.5 crack or 5.4 face, there is a rapp station with two newish bolts/hangers and rings. This would deposit you in the gully you started up. The hike out isn't too bad. Then again, it's still technically winter so it may be a bit more bare than usual. A fun climb I find myself doing on a regular basis to get away from people. Go for it.

Comments: Trailed a 200ft static behind me (followed my buddy). Rope ended about 5ft above the ground, so from anchor straight down to the start is about 205". Fixed #4 C4 up there. When throwing ropes for the rapp, try to throw climber's left of the route. There is a huge flake down climber's right that eats rope. There is a big tree near it.

Comments: Has anyone gone straight up above the fixed pin where the 5.8 goes right? The rock is kinda bad and thin so it's difficult to protect. Did this route on aid last weekend just to have a look at that section. Also took a few of the smaller loose rocks and brought them down safely. Still got those couple choppers up there! :-)

Comments: P2 if done as aid is an alternating bolt and rivet ladder, with a reach right to the tree. Buncha slings on them with three aluminium rings, in good condition as of 20130205. Rivets have wing nuts on them so they feel super safe.

Comments: Very slippery indeed. Good place for a TR solo to do laps. More fun that way. On the left side of the slabs before the mossy part, there are some much steeper sections that are much harder, with terrible feet. Very slippery start with a bouldering type move next and a topout onto slab. 5.6 - 5.7ish moves. The bottom seems the most slippery, and is usually the crux with a bulge (bulgey? bulgy? bolki.) start. Super easy in the middle, with a bulge at the top on either side of the slab. Comments: Nobody at the Ahwahnee minds if you park in the parking lot. However, you might not find a spot during the summer, or whenever the Ahwahnee is hosting some sort of wino gig.
