Comments: Magic Ed lists this as 5.5 in his guidebook, which is way too generous. Most of this route is fourth class with just a few feet of super easy actual 5th class moves.

Comments: This climb is a cool climb that leads you up a neat feature, to a unique place in the park, but I feel like I have to add something to the route description-

Pitch 1 is basically 4th class. 5.0/5.1 maybe. Super blocky and low angle and easy.

Pitch 2 is more interesting, but goes at something like 5.3. Definitely not 5.7.

Lastly, I was able to rappel from the top of the climb to the base with a single 70 meter, so the climb is about 115' to 120' long.

The climb is cruiser, and I would recomme... more >>

Comments: As of January 2014 the route seems safe without a runout. Maybe a bolt was added? If you can find all the holds on the roof it also feels like... 5.7? I don't know. The jugs are huge and about 6" apart.

Comments: This rock's been climbed for generations now. The routes are so obvious and old that the FA's hardly matter, it's kind of communal at this point. That being said you might want to just delete your submitted routes with their names, rather than try and put your stamp on the rock.

Comments: The water at La Posada at least is totally fine. Everyone fills their water bottles from the tap.
