Comments: that is what i ended up doing. more like a ten foot down climb of fourth class, but still pretty sketchy.

Comments: The top outs for all three climbs are terrible. Once you pull the lip you are stranded on top of the boulder and are forced to down climb and jump.

Comments: This climb is like 8 feet tall and does not deserve a pg13 rating if you cover the rocks at the base with a pad.

a good variation is to pull left off sidepull start to arete then slap your way up on slopers to the top. v4ish

Comments: since the description is not very precise, the way to do it is to sit start with your left hand on the bad edge down low and your right hand on the sloping dish. then move up bad crimps to the okay slot edge and then tricky top out on good holds.
Another good variation is to sit start with your right hand in the big pocket and your left on the sloping dish and move left on bad slopers then bump to slot edge with your left hand. maybe a little harder but not much.

Comments: Totally awesome at the top and the best urination of my life. Did the hike and the climb at night; started the trail at 7:42 and started the climb at midnight. It was a very surreal adventure hiking and climbing this thing at night with headlamps. The climb was forgettable but the summit was incredible. Comments: Pochay and Olsen did not bolt this climb. My father (Steve Tucker) and mother ( Melissa Tucker) bolted it in 96 as a warmup for hard climbs at jailhouse; while my mom was pregnant with me. Regardless, a great climb, despite the third bolt hanger being loose enough to spin.
