I began climbing in the Wasatch in 1985. I am probably one of those guys who would rather climb a route clean and walk away, than claim it by drilling anchors into it. I have placed a few bolts over the years, notably in the Uinta's where I developed some of the earliest routes there, though I climbed many others that were claimed by other climbers who liked drills more than I did. I still climb, but lower grades, just to find some peace and quiet, which is getting harder to do in this town.
