More information:
Never touched a mountain growing up in Chicago. Started climbing in NC and WV when in grad school. Gorgeous mountains and rivers and hills that are like another world away now. Been in SoCal a while, familiar with local spots, and JTree, Idyllwild, Big Bear, Yosemite, the Sierra Eastside.

Love leading on gear, bolt clip some, and sure, body up to little rocks, too. Favs: Joshua Tree, Tahquitz, Needles, Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne, Buttermilks, Lover's Leap, Red Rock, New River Gorge, Paradise Forks, Oak Creek Overlook, Sedona, Moab and Indian Creek, Black Canyon and Gunnison, Eldo, South Platte, Squamish, La Huasteca Mexico.

The 2nd rap tree anchor on narrow ledge with long rectangular loose-sitting block, located ~200 ft below the summit and down the west gully to skier's right. The next rap tree anchor is ~150 ft down and across on other side of gully. That 3rd rap would descend ~160 ft to a faint trail, which would switchback first to skier's right and then to skier's left, then hug that left side down to an easy squeeze chimney section and then to the ledgy bulge traverse leading to the Lotta Balls descent raps. Sat 4 May 2013.  The rap tree behind and just below the buttress topout, above the wide gully to the west. Easy scramble to get from summit gear anchor down to that tree. Had climbed Dodgeball and topped out via the finish of Kick In The Balls. Sat 4 May 2013.  Keena on Tunnel Vision, about to follow dad Doug to veer left out onto the face variation on P3.
