Comments: Could somebody clarify the difference between the variation and the 'original' climb? Does the original version go left and squeeze between the trees and the rock, or does it finish by reaching right from the triangular hold to the easy crack?

Thanks!

Comments: Thanks for the info Mark! I've been wanting to go up to Green's for a year now, and I plan on trying again once the bugs die down; if I make it I'll report back.

Comments: Anyone scoping out a line on that beautiful face? It looks steep and featured and appears to have some placements.

Comments: The most obvious route seems to be a v4, climbing from the huecos up and right through good holds and topping out on bad slopers or sharp edges. Not sure which holds one would use for the v5 variation.

The v6(+?) variation that heads right is sharp and hard.

Comments: I've heard from some hiker friends that there are lots of boulders in the area. Does anyone know if people have bouldered here or if a reasonable potential for development exists?

Comments: I haven't been there but I located it on maps:

43.076255,-72.731758

Is there any more potential here or is this the extent of the area?

Comments: I believe this is W24 on the bouldering map at lynnwoodsbouldering.com/

If so, 14 problems crammed onto this tiny boulder seems like a stretch.

Comments: v4? Sure why not... I think that the nubs Jay Z mentioned have crumbled/polished into even worse footholds since I was last here, but I could be wrong. In any case, I think there are better options for the starting foot.

As promised, a shout out to mystery Dave for the chalk, he led the day in assists.

Comments: Thanks for all of your comments, they provided some crucial info for my and my friend's ascent. Joe Vitti's description is a pretty accurate account of our experience on this climb. The first 4 pitches were beautiful, great climbing, and went way too fast. The following 5 pitches (or 6? who knows) were slow going, with loose rock, wet sections, and difficult routefinding. The two or three pitches we did after the cow's mouth were runout on sketchy rock, with no real landmarks.
