Comments: Great movement and fun climb! Just be careful clipping the second bolt as it happens right around a big move and there's decking potential - probably why there's that bolt for the belayer.

Comments: I climbed this route again today and noticed the anchor bolt on the right seems to be more exposed than on previous times I have climbed here. The hanger has always spun but it almost seems like the bolt has been working its way slowly out of the rock. Luckily the bolt on the left is solid though!

Comments: There is no additional pro needed other than the one bolt as that protects the one move on the route. The one move is rather fun though!

Comments: Quite possibly the best route I've done around Castle Rock. A must do and not to be overlooked if around the Indian Rock area!

Comments: The first bolt out to the left is a rusted 1/4" that spins and is not trustworthy at all. You can pretty easily protect this section with some pro though so it's not that big of a deal. The last two bolts are solid though.

Comments: One of the bolts on the anchors is a spinner and looks like it has come out of the hole a little bit (though the bolt wasn't moving around, so that is good at least). Just a heads up!

Comments: Just went out here today to check it out and I was pleasantly surprised. It is an absolutely gorgeous drive out there, and the rock location right on the creek makes for a nice setting. But, that was also a small drawback to the crag, as most all of the bottoms of the routes were surrounded by water. That's no problem though if you lower down to start the route, though you'd probably want your partner to belay from above. It might make leading a route hard unless your belayer was standing on... more >>

Comments: A joy of a climb! It has a little bit of everything mixed in. Add to that some nice views at the top and being away from the hustle and bustle of the popular crags and you have yourself a gem - definitely worth the hike out!

Comments: Best route on Platypus! Fun lie-backs lead to a neat balancy move, then you get a nice breather and it's smooth sailing to the top!

Comments: Headed out to check out Table Scraps this last weekend with a couple of friends and had a great time! This is a wonderful little crag that has a little something for everyone! It's an especially good place to teach people to lead (got my friend leading his first two climbs while we were there). Also, it was so quiet and peaceful out there - we were the only ones (which I wasn't expecting). It was definitely a nice break from the hustle and bustle I experienced over at the Bubble and the Bear.... more >>

Comments: This climb is definitely not a 5.4. I agree that it's more in the 5.6/5.7 range. As for your first lead - I suggest going around the corner to One Bolt (now that it has 3 bolts on it) which is easier and feels more protected (psychologically at least).

Comments: We climbed this route in December and there are now 3 bolts on it, so that eliminates the run-out issue. It was a fun little climb and would be a good easy first lead outside in my opinion.
