Comments: Of course, everyone is a critic. I agree that its not ideal to TR on the anchors, and though I didn't thread these, I do realize that its something most of us have done at one point or another. While some anchors do see more than their fair share of wear, it is best to save them as much as possible.

Comments: If using the anchors for Bloody Impaction, there's much less of an issue with rope drag when TRing this route. When leading this trad, theres placements for #4-1, then it gets a little thin for gear at the top, but that parts pretty easy.

Comments: I lead this to the anchors of Facial Fracture. That way my 2nd could clean this and TR Facial Fracture without changing the anchors. Way easy for a beginning leader.

Comments: I had a bit of a hard time finding the location of this area based on the provided directions. I think a few things have changed over the years. Camping is not allowed at the pullout/ parking area and there are several cattle guards along Kane creek. I found it easiest if you head into the canyon from Moab. After descending into the canyon there is an intermittent stream crossing just after you pass a campsite area on the left. Then after the canyon begins to open up and the road turns to the le... more >>

Comments: I found the Super Topo, Bay Area Bouldering Guide by Chris Summit, to have a comprehensive list of routes in this area. Its a great place to climb on the beach.

Comments: Great climbing area with several easier climbs and a good belay landing. A variety of sun and shade. The approach up the ravine can be a bit strenuous.
