Comments: Fun, easy but makes you stop and think twice if you're going solo sans pad. More mental than anything because you do feel airy. And you're right, the views are great. I took a nap up there.

Comments: Took me a few times to get the balance of the SDS start right. Top out is trickier than it looks from below. Not a trivial problem.

Comments: Some good granite up there. Not sure about the legality of being on the property even though it is Denver Parks. I've tread lightly in the past. Anybody have any ideas if it is open?

Comments: There is a good traverse on the rock as well.

Comments: Just beware there is a huge runout on the first pitch; it really is a solo. And don't make the mistake of going to the roof straight above you. About 20-30 feet below that is a pseudo ledge that makes an easy traverse to the belay tree. If you do go to the roof below the bulge, the traverse over is at about the 5.8-9 range.

Comments: Hey Luke, Nice work in cataloging and organizing all of these problems. It's always interesting seeing people's ratings and also nice seeing other people enjoying the place. I'll second the opinion stated above, I don't think i've ever had a bad day at that place, outside of that big flake falling on me once. Spent four hours there today off of the Sisters/Ponderosa trail junction bouldering.

Comments: I think the best description is Class 4 with Class 5 consequences if you climb all of the gendarmes. Never technically tough, but keeps you focused the entire way. The exposure is about the same as Pawnee Peak's East Ridge. Classic climb. Best descent if it is still early enough is to glissade one of the couloirs or the slopes between Neva & Jasper.

Comments: Some good rock and some scary rock on the route. Never even clipped the 1/4-incher. Been a few years, but I do remember the crux is the start of the route - like a V2 boulder problem.

Comments: Consensus with my friends and I was V4. And you can hit the tree if you miss the bad sloping thing up top.

Comments: What do you think the crystal-filled crack to the right of the OW and near the slab goes at? I went up to the first mushroom and then traversed back left, not finding an obvious way up the overlap.

Comments: I obviously missed this problem while I was out there. That's alright. It was in the '90s and found plenty of other stuff to leave some skin on. Fun looking rock though.

Comments: Do you need multiple big gear pieces on this? I.E.: Do I have to borrow a second #4 cam from a friend to do this climb? Thnx

Comments: I felt like all of the good holds were facing the wrong way. Left some skin on the friction slap onto the top. Easy to find and easy to fall from.
