Comments: Climbed this today (10.14.10) and found a loose bolt if anyone has the time to tighten, would be appreciated. I believe it was the fourth bolt.

Comments: Had fun on this route.

Last bolt is poorly placed. Skipped it, and it seemed more logical just to go for the anchors.

Comments: Evan, thanks for all the valuable info re: Red Rocks and the Dakota Range. Honestly, the Sanitas area is one of my favorite areas to climb for the calm, chill atmosphere, and the great views of Boulder. Bummer about your ankle. Would love to spend some time climbing and developing these areas this summer.

Comments: A few important notices for climbers wishing to climbing in Colorado Springs:

The City of Colorado Springs requires every climber to register annually at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center.

The use of chalk (with calcium carbonate) is prohibited, and a chalk substitute must be used instead.

I am not sure of the penalty for failure to comply with these regulations, but I am told it is a fine of around $500. For complete information please see the [[City of Colorado Springs Techn... more >>

Comments: This area gets a bit of a bad rap for having too many beginner climbs, in my opinion. I love climbing here every time I've been.

Got a perfect day out here on December 26. Walls were empty, sun was out, it was great!

Comments: This is an excellent, fun area to climb. First place I ever climbed when I was 12 years old.

Comments: Mt. Sanitas is great. Anyone know about the Red Rock spur area to the SW of Mt. Sanitas?
