Comments: would definitely recommend a number 4. a number 5 could be useful though unnecessary. crazy exposure. try looking down when pulling that roof.

Comments: Good route. Nice and tall. Super well bolted. Here you go all you sport happy bolt junkies. A nice needles sport route for you. Doesn't need to be manipulated or anything so you can climb it. Have fun.

Comments: BETA. as far as the first pin goes, the twin cracks is the original route. the pin is even further left then what you climb up, so anyone who missed the pin still probably went up the riginal route just didnt traverse far enough to see the pin. After going up the easy flake/ crack to a good stance with three cracks in your face, Keep moving left. like 5 feet at least. its further over than you would expect and hidden. As far as the 5.10 variation goes. i dont know of anyone who has climbed it. ... more >>

Comments: hey tito,

the trash in Yosemite varies. it depends on how disrespectful the groups that go up. there are a lot of people clean it all up on there way by. to whom i say thanks.

As for your first trad rack ill email you some tips.

Comments: I just did this route. Not sure if I agree with the pg13 rating as there is bomber gear to protect the crux. The easy climbing just above the crux may get a little run out but if you can pull the crux you shouldnt have a problem with that. We set up a trad anchor At the top of the first pitch adjacent to the bolted anchors and about ten feet left. For the second pitch I went up the awkward flaring chimney on the left almost straight up for the first pitch. I'm not very good with chimney ratings ... more >>
