Comments: I still think this is hands down the best route in Eldo. It's always good every time I get on it. Me and Steven took a jaunt up it Friday afternoon.

As of 9-18-09, there are no fixed pieces on P1. However, on P4 there are two fixed Friends right on top of each other at the start. One is a rigid the other tech. You can still get a good #1 Camalot above them and also have room for your hand. I may go up and try to get them out soon. Anyone care to join me?

Comments: Climbed this route Sat with Jay. I'd give it 2 stars overall, however, the crux pitch and the 10+ pitch above are outstanding. It still needs to clean up a bit though. The last few pitches are junk which were quite wet and mossy.

Comments: Probably the best route I've done in the Glacier Gorge area. I gave it only 3 stars because I feel it needs to clean up quite a bit. The 5th pitch is really dirty. I had to do quite a bit of gardening just to place pro on this pitch. Also, I linked pitches 4&5 together with no problem. I would also like to clarify the lengths of pitches 4&5 as described above. I did both as one pitch and arrived at the belay with exactly half of a 70 meter rope left. That would be about a 115 ft, give or ... more >>

Comments: HA, I think I know the drunk you speak of. He tried to approach my wife but was scolded by the bartender and quickly walked away. Seems as if all the locals hang out at Bussy's in the evening for beer and good times.

Comments: If you're looking for a place that feels like the "ends of the earth" then go to Brac. I mean that in a good way of course. This is the most laid back place I have ever been in my entire life. If you're looking for tourist type, night life then stay away. However, if you just want to unwind, relax and re-charge then go. Brac is a magical place you will never forget, ever.

Comments: Yep, sick route for sure. This was my first trip to the Black! Climbed it with Jay on second day down there. Great sustained climbing the entire way. Better have your head screwed on right for the first pitch. Jay sent it in style! Nice one dude.

Comments: Pitch 2 is very cool and unfortunately too short. The second pitch is very intimidating, because the gear is blind where you need it most. It was hard to "sack up" and go for it not knowing how good the gear was. Solid 11+.

Comments: Outstanding climb featuring bulletproof rock. This thing is a wild ride the entire way that's "in your face" the moment you leave the belay. It ain't no "sport route". A very sneaky climb that would be a proud onsight.

Comments: That would be Carlos from Columbia. We met up that day and I suggested he get on this route. He casually onsighted both pitches linked together.

Comments: If people are going to add an entire area to the database, I wish they would offer up more info. Seems like some just jump at the chance to add an area so they score MP points.
