Murf on Washed Up Never Was Beens Diarrhea Dome South Face.

Manly Dike takes the right ascending dike system. The Big Brown Eye climbs up to the big brown patina spot near the center of the south face and right of the dike. Svapada takes a line seen in picture as the lighter colored streak that passes through a horizontal crack system further to the right. Owl Pinnacle is the pointy grey rock atop the formation on the left.

Copyright 2004 by Randy Vogel Shows the crucial turn to reach Diarrhea Dome and The Grotto:

As you pass through some scrub oak along the wash, just before the rocky ridge "Hogsback", a wash will be seen coming in from your right. (This exact point is shown in photo).

From here, head right (east) along this wash which is almost immediately blocked by large boulders. Crawl under the boulders and follow the wash beyond for about 25 yards.

Copyright 2004 by Randy Vogel Near the top of the second pitch, beginning the final cruxy traverse.
