Comments: Has anyone ever done the traverse from the start jugs of the right arete, stay low on the pockets and into man tits? what does everyone think about the grade on that?

Comments: I think there could be a sit start added into this, maybe bumping the grade one or two higher. JJ do you know if its been done? I assume the DRL's have probably gotten after it already.

Also any help with the name of the V9 route that goes out right from this line would be appreciated.

Comments: The first hold on this thing is most likely going to break soon, within the next few hard pulls it feels. this may make the initial moves harder but not drastically.

Comments: I think your right bob, in the original book it puts it at 12b/c. Rethinking back on this route its probably closer to 12b.

Comments: Thanks for the info JJ. I was typing this off of faint memory from looking at a guidebook once. Figured I would put these things up on here because I find them to be some of the funnest and best problems in Prescott when you want to give your skin a break from Groom!

Comments: Warning to watch out for loose rocks on this route and all of the routes in the area. I took a ground fall due to an unexpected foothold breaking off. be careful and mindful of the holds you choose.

Comments: More people should get on this route so we have a definite answer of what the grade is. In Gary's guidebook it says 12d, I think its probably easier than that. Has anyone else climbed this?

Comments: Just a heads up everyone.. i was about to attempt this route yesterday around 1:20pm, when my partner and I noticed birds eating a mass amount of bees that were flying out of the crack. The Bees seem to be in the horizontal crack all the way to the huge chimney flake on the far right side...
