Comments: Went up there yesterday. A friend and I worked this sit start from the far left on two crimps. Fired to right hand sloper, matched then went into undercling and finished on "nicos problem" pretty cool and hard. No send, but close.

Comments: Nice work! I'm also around 5'8" and had to toe down for the throw. Definitely a rad move! We'll see what happens to a few of these holds with more traffic. The nature of this sandstone seems to forever be in a state of flux.

Comments: Hey Kelly- This cave i would call behind Kelly's Hill. If you come from parking and head up the hill- one has to pass all the boulders (including the mini roof crack and johnny bigmouth) and continue up and over the hill. (I will go up there with ya anytime) We could be talking about the same area but I'm still not sure.. (you are a walking guidebook :) I think the last time we climbed together was up at johnnybm a few yrs. ago and there was no mention of it? Whether climbed before or not, th... more >>

Comments: Please correct me if this area has been climbed before. There was evidence of people being there but not climbing (i.e. broken bottles, one etching "LA"). I had to clean a lot of dead brush and rocks from the cave and clean many holds to make it climb-able. The whole development process is so rewarding :)

Comments: I had several days of attempts falling from the top via a right high hamstring heel hook getting over the bulge. Gut buster and worthy!

Comments: I definitely agree! unique movement on unique holds. A great stand alone line for the area- and Bobs description was spot on!

Comments: had fun in the jack and tan area a few years ago.. the traverse line and a few on the backside were entertaining and saw some sends- good to see more development of this area. maybe with more traffic it will improve! I'm psyched to check out these problems

Comments: Just went up yesterday for the first time in a couple years. Spectacular. Amazing setting amongst very quality sandstone. One of my favorite places to get away and climb for a day. Pristine conditions right now as the flies are not yet out. Cold ass mornings and evenings lend to amazing quality climbing throughout the day. 65º and sunny.

Comments: People love to hate eh? I had never posted anything on here and the "steps" it takes you through says to "be descriptive- that is why mountain project is such a great site" (and I'm paraphrasing). I just had to visit that cave/didn't know anything about it! Once you do a lot of the known great problems around here you begin to search for more and want to give back to the rock community that has given so much to you. I probably won't go back to boulder at that cave but it was a fun days adventu... more >>
