I started climbing near Birmingham Alabama. I think it was called Sand rock. Super fun... hooked! Learned a lot. Managed to have more fun bouldering as my fear of heights would never go away. Made Rappelling an eye closed event when I was doing some Adventure racing. Eyes closed means fixed on the corner until I got comfortable...at the bottom.

I sill look up at all the rocks...I still wonder what it would be like to be exposed at great length .... much admiration for those that follow this sport with passion...
