Ivan starting the 9/10a second pitch. The first bolt can be seen way up above his head to the right of the second tiny corner facing right. A couple of slings over flakes psychologically protect the upper run out to the corner system above.

Our first view of the Spires clearly showing the two ears of the Beer and a Hotdog, Two Bucks route spire. Chris McNamara's guide talks about following cairns up from the road but they were nowhere to be found except finally here as the Spires come into view. I always thought that the term was spelled C-A-N-S though...

Our first view of the Spires clearly showing the two ears of the Beer and a Hotdog, Two Bucks route spire. Chris McNamara's guide talks about following cairns up from the road but they were nowhere to be found except finally here as the Spires come into view. I always thought that the term was spelled C-A-N-S though...

Shot of Indian Springs shown from the parking lot. The Upper Tier is quite obvious with climbs right and left of the large white streak. The Middle Tier is the slightly darker gray section under the right side of the Upper Tier behind pine tree. The Lower Tier partial view is the roundish whiter rock below the right side of the Middle Tier. The Upper Tier has 3 good routes further to the left outside of this photo.
