Comments: over the last few days Vince and Myself have cleaned and extended the start of this climb by taring out the root/dirt ledge. this has added another ~30 feet of 5.4-5.5 climbing to the route. it starts at the base of the cliff and make a more direct start to the climb. We also extended the base area/trail near the climb to create a better belay area.

PS: There is a snake living in the cracks of the upper lip so be careful. today he/she didnt bother us and just crawled further into the cracks.

Comments: I'm wondering, are you allowed to bivy on the big wall, because I know you are not allowed at cathedral. I am wondering this just so I can get used to bivying on walls for some up coming plans to go to Yosemite.

Comments: joshua i think i know what climb you are talking about. if it is the one with the bold about 15 feet up it was cleaned and bolted by Brad white for the summer program at Brewster Academy over last summer.

by the way does anyone now who but chains and or who bolted the anchor on the top of the "amphitheater" area? just about 50 ft climbers right of dyke with a heart

Comments: if this route start at the small over hang near the approach trail. then the original name is "That Damn Freshman" first ascent back around 2000 by John Fouser and some Brewster students
