Fun, easy climb. Traverse is good fun, watch for X'ed block. High left pro before traverse not needed.

NY : The Gunks : ... : a. The Uberfall

Unique climb for the gunks; an actual chimney. Fun, bit harder if you stay in the chimney the whole time, easy to protect, but lots of rope drag for taking up the second.

First 80% of the climb (the long corner crux) is awesome. Great stemming, step outs, eats pro. Last 20% is meandering 5.0. Just go to the two pine tree ledge and finish there.

Squiggles

Fun, but scary, committing moves with minimal pro until after pulled. Fun, but heady on lead.

Finally lead it! Not nearly as scary as I remember; first pitch is a bit blah, but the second is great. At top know how to use the rope to extend the anchor so you can belay comfortably.

Really great chimney climb! Shirtless is a bad idea, you definitely use your back against the wall to get up it. Really fun.

My very first lead of anything ever! Great first lead for anyone new to climbing outdoors; like a ladder but still scared the crap out of me. Paul of course cleaned it in his hiking boots, no climbing shoes needed.
