Joel Nolte is a bald, pudgy, expat Arkansan who occasionally dabbles in trad climbing. He delights in seeing his partners suffer mightily ("yah when my buddies up there on lead all thrashin around and squawkin like a chikin - that's about as good as it gets!") Although occasionally given to anti-social behavior and misanthropic ranting and raving, he does indeed have a soft chewy center. Favorite areas include Vedauwoo, Eldo, Lumpy, Zion, and the Tower. |
