Comments: Taylor, you are mistaken... why do you say it's not Fall Line? Have you climbed the route? That's definitely the route Redtail in the background, which is the exact perspective you'd have if you were snapping photos to the climber's right of Fall Line.

Comments: Finally got around to doing this one today. One of the best in the Canyon and certainly the best arete climbing around the 'zone! Pretty full value 5.10 arete climbing, and excellent from start to finish. I heartily second the notion of skipping the belay pod! I took stoppers and a double set o' cams from 00 master cam-#2 camalot and used damn near all of it. Luckily there's a tree on top of the Pineapple!

Comments: Nope, Mark's got it right. Jerry's Route is on the wall to the right of the 5.6 crack.

Comments: This is awesome, if for no other reason than I never expected to see a ski photo in the City of Rocks album.

Comments: So, so much fun. More sustained than Slightly Toasted Cracker, and just as good (maybe better).

Comments: Terrific climbing. Continuous, but not as much as Crazy Wynona. 11d seems a stretch.

Comments: Sounds good- are there any routes in the guidebook you could give as a reference for the location?

Comments: I wouldn't recommend descending this by rapping off of the super-popular Bloody Fingers... Is this what most people do?! Can't say I've ever done it (or seen it done). After bringing up your second, head down the 4th class chimney to the north (climber's right).

Comments: The bolts protect the harder moves pretty well. Most of this thing is a classic patina cruise.

Comments: This pitch, established in various pieces over the years, has an interesting history involving some of the Gallatin's best climbers. I feel like I'd be selling Bill Dockins & Tom Kalakay short to discuss it here, so do everyone a favor and buy his book: Bozeman Rock Climbs, 3rd Edition. Excellent historical info for this pitch and the entire Canyon.

Comments: Bryan: I just noticed your comment about the OW to the left of Sunshine Daydream. I don't know for sure, but I believe the OW is referenced in Greg Collins's topo of Sunshine Daydream in his book Lander Rock. Might be wrong though.
Nice to hear the bolt finally got upgraded. Maybe I'll have to go do this route again now...

Comments: It seemed like, starting about where Pat is in the pitch 2 photo, I kept fighting to stay right with the bolts as the natural line seemed to venture into the dihedral/chimney feature.

Comments: WS, I can't tell if you're tongue is in your cheek or not. The idea that Montanans all still adhere to the "do not publish" ethic you speak of is antiquated and not at all a good representation of most Montanans. Look at this year's AAJ for instance.

Comments: There are no anchors at sixty feet. Someone pulled the bolts. The sleeves are still visible. What a great, long pitch though. So fun.
